The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation is going to take the automaker to court over 2-thousand vehicles imported to China, equipped with the problematic software at the heart of the scandal. The non-governmental organization says Volkswagen broke Chinese laws and worsened air pollution. Volkswagen delivery in China has declined since the start of the scandal. An industry report shows that VW's China delivery from January to November declined 3.6 percent from the same period last year. The figure is bigger than the company's global average decline of 1.7 percent. |
