South Korean actor Song Seung Heon has announced that he is dating Chinese actress Liu Yifei after rumours about the nature of their relationship spread across the media.

The pair is both starring in upcoming movie 'The Third Way of Love'.

"Quan Min Xing Tan" claimed on Wednesday that Liu and Song shared a ride to Liu's mansion where Song stayed overnight. Witnesses also claimed that Liu's parents left the mansion the next day, giving rise to rumours that Liu introduced her parents to Song hinting that the two could be getting married.

In response to the rumours, Song announced on Wednesday afternoon that he is indeed in a relationship with Liu. Song added that the pair developed a close bond during the filming process however they are nowhere close to getting married.

Many netizens have accused the two of dating to bring extra publicity to their upcoming movie. Promotional staff have denied that this is the case.
