[Photo: thepaper.cn] A group of Chinese tourists say they have not reached a compensation deal with the travel agent after their recent unhappy experience at Moscow airport. Twenty-nine Chinese travelers had booked a tour to Russia and five Northern European countries between July 16th and 31st. However, the tour group was trapped on July 17 at Moscow airport, after their entry was denied by customs officials. Airport authorities said the Chinese tourists failed to provide proper document concerning group travel and their passports were temporarily confiscated. As a result, the tourists had no choice but to stay at the airport without luggage for response. Some of the travelers were elder people who find it hard to deal with the circumstances. The Chinese travelers finally got their tickets back to China four days later and they flew back home in two batches. The online travel company, lvmama.com, admitted it was their fault and offered compensation, including refund of their travel expenditure and a free ship tour, if no travelers would tell their unfortunate experience to others.
