A Chinese children's drama festival, which presents a total of 43 children's dramas from both home and abroad to local audiences, is now taking place in approximately 14 Chinese provinces and cities. The China National Theatre for Children is a co-sponsor of the festival. According to Yin Xiaodong, head of the China National Theatre for Children, an American children's outdoor drama "Princess and the Pea", which witnesses a first-ever collaboration between young Chinese and American artists, will be shown on August 8th and 9th. Also, domestic classic puppet plays such as "To Fly Red-crowned Cranes", which has already debuted recently in Beijing, will meet its spectators again on August 22nd and 23rd.
