[Photo: Xinhua] Beijing police have detained a man for spreading online rumors connected to the recent downturn in the Chinese stock market. The 29-year old has been arrested for posting a video claiming to show a man committing suicide, along with screen shots. Captions and an article attached to the online post suggested the victim had taken his own life because of the massive sell-offs in the market. The post went viral almost immediately. However, police in Beijing say they've since determined the video is not connected to the market downturn.
