Ping An Leasing have put in an order for 50 of China's first self-made C919 aircraft. Ping An Leasing, a subsidiary of Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China announced it had signed an accord to purchase 50 C919 planes from the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd (COMAC) to improve its aircraft leasing business. The announcement was made during the first day of the 51st International Paris Air Show which kicked off on Monday. This makes Ping An Group the 19th client of COMAC. On the same day, a German branch of China PR Group Co, ordered seven C919 jetliners According to media reports, the first test C919 aircraft is under general assembly in COMAC's manufacturing center in Shanghai. The process will be completed by the end of the year. C919 is China's first self-made large passenger aircraft.
