Karl Marx for Young Readers is a book by Professor Han Yuhai from the Peking University. The book aims to show how Karl Max's ideas are still relevant in the 21st century. Founder and CEO of Benchmark Education Corporation, Tom Raycraft, explains the reason why they are interested in distributing the book into the US. "One of the important values of the English edition is the fact that it is written for young students. There are a lot of well-written books on Karl Marx in English but for adults, university-level students. Where this book, I think, is ideal for younger students to begin learning about his philosophy and the history. So we think this will be unique in the market, and we are very optimistic about the sales potential." Earlier, the book's publisher, China Children's Press and Publication Group launched a promotional activity for the English edition of the book at this year's Book Expo America. The book fair ended on May 30 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. |
