A man in Beijing was prosecuted for endangering public security and homicide after he allegedly intentionally rammed his car into pedestrians downtown, killing three and injuring nine.

The Third Branch of the Beijing People's Procuratorate filed the lawsuit against Jin Fusheng, a 61-year-old native in the capital, to the Beijing Third Intermediate People's Court on Wednesday.

On Dec. 26, Jin drove a Buick car into a pedestrian, leaving him slightly injured. Then he rammed the car into a crowd of people at the Beijing Workers' Stadium, leaving three dead, eight injured and three cars damaged, according to the indictment.

Jin allegedly felt dissatisfied after he lost a house-related lawsuit before committing the random act of aggression. He was officially arrested in January.
