A dress worn by actress Vivien Leigh as she played Scarlett O'Hara in the cinema classic "Gone With The Wind" has fetched 137-thousand US dollars at auction.

The 137-thousand US dollar price is a great deal for the collector who bought the outfit decades ago for a mere 20 US dollars as it was on the verge of being tossed out.

The outfit, a gray two-piece ensemble, was sold at an auction in Beverly Hills.

It was the most sought after item among the roughly 150 pieces of "Gone With The Wind" memorabilia on sale.
