Members of "The Avengers" have continued to make the rounds here in China to promote their new film. Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo and director Joss Whedon have met with fans in Beijing as part of their promotional tour, which began this weekend. The three are here to promote "Avengers: Age of Ultron," which comes out next month. Joss Whedon admits the filming took on a life of its own at times. "There are lines from people, there is one scene of The Vision that I made up because of the way the set looked. There's always a little bits. We tried to keep it open, so the people can have ideas the whole time" Robert Downey Jr, who plays Iron Man in the films, has seen his career rebound following a series of drug-related problems. He says taking on the role has helped him grow on a personal level. "Well, Tony made such a transition from being a bit of island to being part of a team, so I think it's helped me think about working with others." The first "Avengers" movie made 1.5 billion US dollars worldwide, with more than 53 million US dollars grossed in China in the two weeks it was on screens following its release. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is due to be released on IMAX 3D throughout China on May 12th.
