The police said on Monday that the two men surnamed Yu and Tang, both in early twenties, were detained over suspected dangerous driving According to the investigation, the two drivers' behavior constitutes as illegal racing, with a maximum speed of over 160 kilometers per hour. Yu's red Ferrari and Tang's green Lamborghini crashed in a tunnel near Beijing's Olympic stadium, or the Bird's Nest, on Saturday evening. Both cars were destroyed. None of the drivers or passengers were seriously hurt in the wreckage.
