As an official co-production, the bulk of Need for Speed 2 will be shot here in China. The production is expected to kick-off later this year. Need For Speed - starring Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul as a street racer fresh from prison and out for revenge - grossed more than 200 million US dollars worldwide including a 65 million US dollars collection in China. The US game publisher Electronic Arts has teamed up with Beijing based China Movie Channel, Jiaflix for the co-production.
