For fast furious fans - "Furious 7″is expected to outrace "The Longest Ride" at the box office in North America this weekend.

"Furious 7″ has already broken the record for ninth-largest domestic opening of all times with its stunning 147.2 million US dollars collection in North America.

Because the opening results were so outsized, analysts expected "Furious 7″to dip significantly in its second week.

The film has ended up holding better than expected, however.

Fans are flocking to watch the final movie by Paul Walker who died in a car crash in 2013 while shooting.

The top three at the US box office this week include "Cinderella" and "Get Hard," both of which are expected to pull in 7 – 8 million US dollars.
