The heavy metal legends, who decided to disband after their drummer A.J. Pero died from a heart attack last month, will be making a farewell tour in 2016. Twisted Sister has hired drummer Mike Portnoy to replace A.J. Pero to perform at its remaining seven shows this year. The band also plans an undetermined number of concerts in 2016 to mark the end of their forty years of performing career. Twisted Sister are ranked No. 73 in VH1's 100 greatest artists of hard rock.
