[Photo: Min Rui/CRIENGLISH/com] It's been announced Samsung's new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge smartphones are set to go on sale in China on April 17th. The final price-tag for the phones hasn't been released. However, it's believed the S6 is going to be priced at around 51-hundred yuan. The S6 Edge will cost a thousand yuan extra. The new phones are said to have a more sleek design than previous Samsung products. Jaesoon Park is the President of Samsung's China's division. "Samsung is putting a lot of emphasis on the Chinese market by constantly paying attention to Chinese customers' needs. We believe, if we carry on this work, we will see more people enjoying our convenient, modern technology." Industry observers say the new Galaxy models do have a drawback, in that they can cut through half of their power supply in just 30-minutes of use. Samsung has reportedly tried to compensate for this by increasing the charging speeds, which are said to be 150-percent faster than the S5 model.
