Four traffic policemen were killed when a truck crashed into a police line on a highway in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Sunday night.

The four were investigating a highway accident when the truck struck them, said the local police bureau on Monday. A rescue worker was also killed.

The truck driver has been detained by police for investigation.
