Iranian striker Ashkan Dejagah said that Iran can win the third match in the group stage of the 2014 World Cup and qualify for the Last 16, Tehran Times daily reported on Wednesday.

Iran will play Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday in the clutch final group F match after they they tied Nigeria 0-0 in the first match and lost to Argentina 1-0 in the second one.

"I was not satisfied with my performance in the first match against Nigeria but in the second match it was completely different. We had a couple of chances and we were really unlucky to score against one of the best teams in the world," Dejagah was quoted as saying.

Iran will have the chance to progress if they beat Bosnia while Argentina defeat Nigeria.

But if Argentina win 1-0 again and Iran win by the same score, FIFA may have to draw lots to decide the second place from the group as Nigeria and Iran's points, goal difference and head-to-head records will be identical.

"We are still hopeful and all of the players have a great self-confidence after the match against Argentina. The third match against Bosnia is a must-win game for us. I promise to score in this match and hopefully we will qualify for the next stage."

On Monday, Iran Football Federation (IFF) announced that it had submitted a complaint to FIFA against Serbian referee Milorad Mazic, for what it said "the poor officiating" during recent Iran-Argentina match in the FIFA World Cup.

Mehdi Mohammad Nabi, IFF General Secretary, said "I think it's not fair. The referee denied our clear penalty."
