    "The Voice" is a popular talent show around the world. Recently, fans and judges of "The Voice of Italy" found an unlikely new favourite during the blind auditions of the singing competition. And in other voice news, "The Voice of Arabia" has crowned its winner, and the American version also has some big news.

    When people say Cristina Scuccia has the voice of an angel, they’re not far from the truth.

    The singing nun has become an Internet sensation after appearing on the Italian version of singing contest, "The Voice."

    Sister Cristina Scuccia wowed judges with her rendition of Alicia Keys’ ballad, "No One."

    All four judges chose to turn their chairs around in the blind audition stage of the show, looking stunned when confronted by the bespectacled Scuccia wearing her black habit.

    The clip of Scuccia singing now has over 38,000,000 hits on "The Voice of Italy’s" official YouTube channel.

    Iraqi Sattar Saad crowned as "The Voice of Arabia"

    While in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, 23-year-old Iraqi Sattar Saad was crowned champion of "The Voice Arabia" on Saturday .

    Grammy-winner Ricky Martin was a special guest at the finale, filmed in front of a live audience at MBS’ Beirut studio .

    Saad was the clear favourite of the enthusiastic crowd - as well as among those voting for contestants at home.

    Pharrell Williams joins "The Voice" as a coach

    And NBC has signed singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams as a coach for the upcoming seventh season in the U.S..

    Williams scored an Oscar nomination this year for his song "Happy" from the film "Despicable Me 2." He also had a Grammy-winning collaboration with Daft Punk on the dance hit "Get Lucky."

    NBC said it would announce the remainder of the coaching line-up at a later date.
