    ISRAEL-ABU GHOSH-AKHMAD KADYROV MOSQUE-THE LARGEST IN ISRAEL

Muslims rest and chat after praying at Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque in Abu Ghosh, about ten kilometers west to Jerusalem, on March 24, 2014. Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque, for which Russia's republic of Chechnya donated six million USD, was inaugurated as Israel's largest mosque on Sunday in Abu Ghosh whose inhabitants claim descent from 16th century Chechnya and the Caucasus region. The new mosque can accomodate more than three thousand worshippers and covers an area of 3,200 square meters. (Xinhua/Li Rui)
