The main part of the Ningxia International Convention Center, the permanent convention space of the China-Arab States Expo, was completed on Wednesday.

The center will cover an area of 64,000 square meters, featuring unique designs of the region.

Its function area will be built around a large courtyard to bring in beautiful natural views. Effective and eco-friendly devices and smart lighting system to be adopted will significantly decrease energy consumption.

Construction of the project was started on April 10, 2012. With the main part completed, the whole project is expected to be completed in June, 2015.
