A new leadership was elected Wednesday for the National Committee of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Churches in China (TSPM) and the China Christian Council (CCC). Fu Xianwei was elected chairman of the TSPM and Gao Feng as president of the CCC on the final day of the ninth National Chinese Christian Congress, China's top Christian authority, in Beijing. The congress, held every five years, adopted a work report on cooperating to build a harmonious and healthy Chinese Christian community and also amended the TSPM and CCC constitutions. |
