“This is my second time to take part in the Harbin Trade Fair. I have turned from being a tourist to being a merchant.” De Lacey, an Australian merchant said.

Enter B Exhibition Hall of the 23rd Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, and you can smell the thick fragrance of coffee. People taste the coffee which is ground by De Lacey in front of a European café booth.

This is De Lacey’s second time to join the Harbin Trade Fair. In 2011, De Lacey took part in the 22nd Harbin Trade Fair with his friend who sells beer. Bustling tourists and crowded merchants made him seek business in the Harbin Trade Fair. De Lacey said: “I decided to bring Australian coffee to Harbin at that time.”

De Lacey enthusiastically recommended Australian coffee to tourists. Excellent roasting skills make the coffee beans brown. De Lacey said he hoped he could seek out partners in China. Design and processing of Australian coffee and marketing system are introduced in China. “I want everyone in China to enjoy the authentic Australian roasted coffee.” De Lacey said.

De Lacey who has been to many cities in China said he liked Harbin very much. Before the exhibition, he found the time to visit Harbin and feel the charm of the ice city. He said: “I like the Songhua River. In the evening, there are many people singing and dancing at the River Bank Square. It is really cozy to walk along the beautiful river bank.”
