Hu Haiquan from the band told reporters that he was working on a solo album. Although his long-time partner Chen Yufan will no longer perform with Hu, he often visits Hu's studio to support him.

In the meantime, Chen is also preparing to record his own solo album.

The two singers will focus more on their own recording projects in the future, but they will retain Yu Quan as a permanent brand name.

The band, which made its debut in 1999, has established a solid fan base in China and won many popular duo awards during the past decade.
