The 23rd Harbin International Economy and Trade Fair (Harbin Trade Fair) which will open in June will welcome Pakistan, Nepal and six other countries that will join the fair for the first time. According to the Harbin Trade Fair office chairman Chen Dianyun, the amount of foreign booths is 700 for this Harbin Trade Fair. It is twice as much as previous fair. The internationalization level is substantially promoted.

As the important exhibition for Russia and Northeast Asian areas, the 23rd Harbin Trade Fair will hold historical significance for Russia entering the WTO in 2012 and builds a large platform for Chinese-Russian trade and tour cooperation. According to the introduction in the Russian federal district development organization, there have been more than ten prefectures or districts affirmed to join. And the Belarus National Exhibition that is the largest scale in Harbin Trade Fair history will also be held this year.

The big break for this Harbin Trade Fair is holding a European Union China (Heilongjiang 2012) Investment and Trade Fair for the first time.
