Abdul'ahat Abdulrixit, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met with a Finnish delegation on Friday.

The delegation was headed by Elli Adltonen, director general of the Regional State Administrative Agency for East Finland.

The two sides pledged to boost subnational cooperation between China and Finland, according to a news release issued after the meeting.

The Finnish guests are visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
