An incubator set up to generate female entrepreneurs was unveiled Thursday in Qingdao, a coastal city in Shandong Province, announced an official with the Women's federation of the city.

About 10,000 woman undergraduates will get the opportunity to join the training programs offered by the incubator annually, said Liu Qinghua, chairwoman of the federation, adding that the incubator will give financial support to 1,000 of them.

She said that besides financial support, the undergraduates will also receive professional training.

"All these measures aim to help the women university students to gain their own experience of establishing a business," said Liu Qinghua.

The city also joined hands with the Bank of Qingdao to launch "Loan for future women entrepreneur," which will give 70 percent discount for the venture guaranty projects of women university graduates.
