On June 5th, Heilongjiang University officially opened the China and Russia Institute. The China and Russia Institute is a state-run full-time institute established by Heilongjiang University and Novosibirsk State University. The length of schooling is 4 years. In the undergraduate course, it sets up Chemical Engineering and Technology, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, International Economy & Trade and Law. It is the first time for new students to enroll in China. The foreign languages that the students learn are English and Russian. Every class has 30 people, with 180 students in total.
