The 2011 Yellow Emperor (Huangdi) worshipping ceremony, themed as "homology with the roots and ancestors in peace and harmony", will be held on April 5 in Xinzheng, hometown of Yellow Emperor in Henan Province.

The ceremony begins at 9:50 am. Nine rituals are followed, including heyday salute, placing flower basket, burning incense, worshipping the God, chanting worshipping paper, singing ode, dancing, praying for China and wishing for the harmony between human, heaven and earth. The rituals this year are expected to have more artistic innovation, according to a report of Henan's local press.

The serial activities also include Week of Central Plain cultural activities, the 5th International Forum of Yellow Emperor Culture and the folk culture of Central Plain exhibition.
