Cycling Chengdu is relatively flat and the major attractions are located within suitable cycling distance between each other. So cycling is highly recommended for a one-day tour in the city. A number of hotels, guest-houses, shops and attractions rent bicycles of different styles and sizes. When cycling, it is better to have a map to guide the way. The attractions in the urban city such as Jinli Street, Qingyang Temple, Zhaojue Temple, Wangjialou Park, Daci Temple and Wenshu Monastery can be visited in a one-day cycling tour. If attracted by further landscape, cyclers are well suggested to go to the following places.

Huanglongxi ancient town Located about 50 kilometers from Chengdu, Huanglongxi ancient town is an old town with the style of western Sichuan. The buildings there are well preserved with the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) style. The typical ancient government courtyard and streets are quite attractive to the eyes. How to get there: go south from Chengdu, take the new road to Huayang, cycle for 13 kilometers and arrive at Huayang, go west for five kilometers to Gongxing town, turn south and pass Yongan town, and reach Huanglongxi ancient town.
