    Lei-cha

    Lei-cha is a traditional custom of Hakkas from Taiwan. It is made with tea and other ingredients that are put into a mortar and ground with the help of a special stick until it is reduced to a pulp.

    Next it is filled with boiled water and stirred, and then the lei-cha is done.

    The host of the festival offers opportunities for tourists to experience the entire lei-cha process.
