Wang Xianfu was born in Haiyang, Shandong Province in 1915 and died in 1982. He was one of the first generation painters in Heilongjiang art circle, a painter in Heilongjiang Provincial Art Academy, a member of Chinese Artists Association, a well-known artist specializing in Traditional Chinese Painting. He once held the position of director of Heilongjiang Calligraphers and Seal Cutters Association, director of Heilongjiang Traditional Chinese Painting Institute, a member of standing committee of Heilongjiang Provincial People鈥檚 Political Consultative Conference. His works were sent to various national and provincial art exhibitions and some of them were collected by Chinese Art Gallery and other units and were popular in Japan and other countries and regions.
