Didi Kuaidi operates 33 routes in Beijing and 10 in Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong Province. The company plans expand its network to more than 100 bus routes in those two cities by the end of July. The target consumers for this new service are white-collar employees aged 20 to 40. Fares will range from 7 yuan ($1.13) to 13 yuan ($2.1). Users can pre-book their seat on these buses using a mobile app and pay for it online. This ensures that everyone has a seat even during the rush hour. The new service will also face competition from the public transportation network which is cheaper and has more routes.
