The first international animal flu reference center which was affirmed by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) settled in Harbin on the 4^th. It is also the second animal flu reference center that FAO established in the world after the German federal animal health research institute. After the center was established, it committed to provide scientific research services for global animal flu prevention. It signs the cooperation of animal health field between China and FAO entering a new stage.
