Kumhu Tires set up places for recalling and testing including four designed shops, two Beijing Hyundai 4S shops and one Dongfeng YuedaKia 4S shop. Tires within the recall period can be replaced in the designed shops, while “suspicious” tires can be tested free from April 15th to October 15th. The recall periods are for tires from the 22nd week of 2008, the 40th week of 2008, the 5th week of 2009, the 9th week of 2009, the 24th week of 2010, the 29th week of 2010, and the first week of 2011. The free testing period is for tires produced in the 8th week 2008. Kumhu Tires also promises that they will provide a half-year free testing service for tire productions of cars made in China and related products according with free replacement agreements.
