Italian pop tenor, Andrea Bocelli, will present a two-day concert in the Beijing leg of his Asian tour on May 20 and 21 at the National Stadium (or colloquially the Bird's Nest).

Bocelli will sing scores from the operas, "La Traviata" and "Madama Butterfly" as well as classic songs like "O Sole Mio" and "Amazing Grace."
Female singers, Elena Rossi and Hayley Westenra, will make guest appearances with Bocelli.

Andrea Bocelli has made himself an international phenomenon with a remarkable voice, ethereal yet powerful, which is as touching as his music itself.

Bocelli wishes to pass on a message of true love, the most beautiful thing. He always dreams to communicate with the audiences in music, a potent instrument to express his emotions.

He said most songs on the repertoire moved him in different moments and hopes Chinese audiences will recognize that.

It was seven years since his last concert in Beijing. Bocelli expects people from last show to return to the site of nostalgia.
