Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai has been officially rated as a five-star hotel by the China National Tourism Administration.

On March 30, 2011 an unveiling ceremony celebrating the rating was held in the hotel's grand ballroom in the presence of representatives of the Pudong New Area People’s Government and the Shanghai Tourism Bureau.

The 523-room Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai is ilocated in the heart of Pudong Avenue, close to the financial hub of Shanghai, the Shanghai New International Exposition Centre and has easy access to the highways leading to both domestic and international airports.
