the 27th Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival opened on January 5th. The Ice and Snow Festival was hosted by the China National Tourism Administration, Heilongjiang Government and Harbin city government. It has the theme of “Happy ice and snow, exciting city”. It will hold hundreds of activities including ice and snow art, culture, physical training, tourism and economics.

As a high-light of the ice and snow festival, five activities will hold a fantastic opening.

At 3:30p.m., the first “Songhua River Ice and Snow Thousand People Rolling Snow” activity will open. There will be a lot of performances at that time.

At 4:00 p.m., there will be 15 minutes of music and fireworks near the Songhua River.

At 5:00 p.m., there will be a reception dinner. Domestic and foreign guests can enjoy a feast together.

At 6:30 p.m., parades will begin, going along Hongqi Street, Changjiang Road, Zhongxuan Street, Zhongshan Road, Hongjun Street, Jingwei Street, Youyi Street and Songbei Road. People can enjoy the ice lights on these streets.

At 7:00 p.m., the opening ceremony of the Ice and Snow Festival and Ice and Snow World will begin. In dreaming ice and snow world, “Exciting Harbin ice and snow large performance” will be shown first. There will also be “Ice and Snow Moulin Rouge ", “COOL Show on ice” and a large fireworks show.
