Disney is bringing magic to the capital from July 14 to 18 at Beijing Poly Theater with "Disney Live! Three Classic Fairy Tales."

Produced by Feld Entertainment, the live show is set to attract thousands of families and Disney lovers with its classic stories, elaborate sets and stunning costumes.

Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, start an unexpected journey when they find a magical book in Mickey's secret attic. The four friends open the storybook, finding some iconic objects that take them into three fair tales: Snow White, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast.

When these three happy-ever-after stories unfold, the theater will be turned into a Disneyland with audiences solving clues, clapping along, and singing Disney songs, including Someday My Prince Will Come, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, and Be Our Guest.

"We chose these timeless tales because they're filled with great imagination and one common thread - that dreams really do come true," says producer Alana Feld.

"For Mickey and his pals, the enchanted storybook becomes a place full of wondrous adventure; and for audiences, Disney Live! Three Classic Fairy Tales is where they will share laughter, singing, dancing and good family fun."

Magic also occurs backstage. All the performers wear sensors that are attached to their costumes. In this way, the lights can automatically follow them wherever they go.

There will also be an English-speaking show arranged for foreign families, which is at 4:30 pm on July 16.
