Veteran Chinese mainland pop singer Na Ying will perform at the Taipei Arena on July 24, the show's organizer has announced.

The show will make Na the first mainland musician to stage a solo concert at the coveted venue, the Southern Metropolis Daily cited Dada Arts, the organizer, as saying.

The Taipei show will be part of Na's "20 Years of Na" tour, with which the singer celebrates her two-decade-long career. She has already performed in Beijing and Macao.

Na, 42, is considered one of the best Mandopop singers. Her popularity spans the entire Chinese-speaking community. She has won numerous awards, including one for Favorite Artist at the 2002 MTV Asia Awards.
