Words on the street are, Johnny Depp has been ordered to quit "The Tourist" by longtime partner Vanessa Paradis. The New York Post reported that the French actress has told the star of "Pirates of the Caribbean" series to find another gig after learning that he will have to shoot a passionate love scene with co-star Angelina Jolie.

It is said that the 37-year-old singer is worried that she will left heartbroken, seeing that Laura Dern and Jennifer Aniston had experienced similar situation. However, getting the 46-year-old actor to cut himself out of the project will not be as simple as it looks since the filming has started and he has been seen joining Jolie on set at the Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice on Tuesday, March 2.

Nonetheless, a source close to the project claimed that the Mad Hatter of "Alice in Wonderland" is looking for a way to make it possible. "He's currently trying to [get out of the movie], but I don't know if he's succeeded," the source stated. "But he's trying and they're talking about replacing him with [Jolie's partner] Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio."

In "The Tourist", Angelina Jolie will portray a female Interpol agent Cara Mason who uses Johnny Depp's American tourist character Frank Taylor as a dupe to flush out an elusive criminal with whom she once had an affair.
