The 2nd Qinghai International Tangka Art and Cultural Heritage Exhibition began in Xining city on September 18th.
The exhibition presents Tangka paintings of different styles and showcases the creation process of this art and basic techniques it applied. Participants have intimate contacts with this ancient art works and Tangka painting masters' skills.
According to Jidimajia, vice governor of Qinghai Province. This year's Tangka exhibition aims at promoting the local tourism industry and protecting the precious cultural heritage.
