A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official on Sunday called for professional, efficient and convenient services to media outlets for the upcoming celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when visiting the media center for the celebration.

Speaking highly of the media center's preparation work, Huang called for efforts to properly tell the stories of New China, socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and the CPC, and to fully show China's achievements and experiences during the past 70 years in media reports.

Huang urged the media center to improve its work on authoritative information release and customized services, properly organize press conferences and group interviews, and properly run its official website and social network accounts.
