Qingdao customs on Monday announced that they have dealt with three animal products smuggling cases and seized a batch of products.

The seized items include 0.74 kg of ivory products, 1 kg of pangolin scales and 0.17 kg of products made of rhino horn. Three suspects were caught.

Customs officials said the suspects bought the products from Vietnam online. A preliminary investigation shows that the suspects bought the products for collecting, and there is no proof showing that they had sold the products for profit.

The case is under further investigation.
