Police in central China's Hubei Province recently apprehended four suspects for allegedly dealing drugs through express parcel service. The public security department of Yicheng was informed that there was illegal drug trade going on in the city last year. After an investigation, policemen caught a suspected drug dealer surnamed Zhang. Further investigation showed that Zhang had been receiving drugs from a suspect surnamed Yang in Yunnan Province. Yang had been sending drugs, disguised as preservatives, together with food in express parcels to Yicheng. With the help of another two suspects, Zhang sold the drugs to buyers in the provinces of Henan, Gansu and Hubei. Policemen caught the suspects and seized a total of 1,077.7 grams of methamphetamines last month. Further investigation is underway. |
