Bank of Changsha Co., Ltd., a Chinese city commercial bank, posted a 13.94 percent year-on-year growth in net profit last year.

Its net profit attributable to shareholders reached 4.48 billion yuan (667 million U.S. dollars), the lender said in its annual financial results filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the bank generated revenue of 13.94 billion yuan, up about 15 percent year on year.

Its total assets reached 526.6 billion yuan by the end of 2018, an annual increase of 11.9 percent.

At the end of 2018, the bank's non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.29 percent, up 0.05 percentage points from a year earlier.

Shares of Bank of Changsha closed 3.88 percent lower at 10.66 yuan Monday in Shanghai as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index retreated 1.97 percent.
