Hong Kong stocks closed up 446.17 points, or 1.60 percent, to 28,347.01 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,186.75 and 28,412.08. Turnover totaled 95.06 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 12.11 billion U.S. dollars).
