A central delegation led by Wang Yang, China's top political advisor, on Thursday returned to Beijing after visiting south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the rest of the delegation started the visit on Sunday in Nanning, capital of Guangxi. They attended the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the region, visited the cadres and people of Guangxi and looked into the region's economic and social development, receiving warm welcomes from the locals of all ethnic groups. |
