China's top legislature started its bimonthly session on Monday to deliberate a draft amendment to the Criminal Procedure Law, among other proposals and drafts. During the five-day session, the National People's Congress Standing Committee will consider revisions to the Organic Law of the People's Courts and the Organic Law of the People's Procuratorates, and deliberate a draft revision to the Company Law. Several reports, including two submitted by the State Council on state assets, will also be discussed, according to the agenda. |
