A forum on the youth's role in the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was to be held in China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) on Saturday, the Spokesperson's Office of the Macao SAR government said recently.

The three-day event, with the theme of "new opportunities for the development of young people through the construction of the Greater Bay Area," includes thematic forums and five parallel sessions, and some other activities.

Meanwhile, an initiative was to be signed by 30 representatives of young people on the youth's role in the construction of the Greater Bay Area.

More than 1,000 representatives are expected to attend the forum.
