Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Chen Xi on Tuesday met with public servants from Australia and New Zealand in Beijing.

Chen, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and president of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (Chinese Academy of Governance), welcomed the guests led by Allan Fels, the inaugural dean of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG), who came to attend a seminar for senior public servants.

The exchange program for public servants from the three countries plays a positive role in enhancing the understanding and trust between the countries, exchanging governance experience, and promoting cooperation and common development, according to Chen.

Fels said that the ANZSOG highly values the communication and cooperation with its Chinese counterpart and is looking forward to more fruitful outcomes.
